A: It can be buffed out.

A:Install ppf on the hood.
Q:Why not use Lexan/polycarbonate?
A:
The cost of material is higher.
It takes more time to mold due to the 10+ hour drying process required to prevent moisture from creating air pockets during the molding process.
Its harder to buff out scratches than Plexiglass/Acrylic.
Its more flexible than Plexiglass/Acrylic.
It tends to yellow when exposed to UV light over time.
The clarity is slight better with plexiglass/acrylic.
